People matter to God, and so they must matter to us. Helping to make a Christ centered difference in the lives of those living in our community is what the Life Compassion In Action Program is all about. Everyone experiences difficulties in their lives from time to time and could use a little help. When that need arises, we are here to help. We believe that Compassion In Action Speaks Louder Than Words. We are a Christian ministry that welcomes all people. We give witness to God’s saving love and prophetic power by loving neighbors, seeking justice, empowering the least among us, and renewing the Church’s social ministry responsibilities.
Our Food Assistance Program believes that not a single man, woman or child in our community should ever go to bed hungry. We also know that giving someone something that they are unable to use is neither truly helping that person nor is it good stewardship of what our Lord has provided. That is why we tailor and personalize the food we provide through the Food Assistance Program to meet the needs of those we assist. This includes being able to assist many of those who must maintain special medically recommended dietary regimes.
Our Lord expects those that are able to hold gainful employment and support themselves and their family’s to do so. Unfortunately life happens and at times, one finds themselves unemployed. Our Employment Assistance Program is available to assist anyone in our community who may need a little help finding employment. The program's goal is to Connect Good Employees with Good Employers so that both parties benefit from that connection.
